New Claims by Preachers

Try the newest book Turkey Broth for the Spirit: Just a Few Questions that presents questions concerning the Pentateuch of Moses and the absurd cruelty of God that can be found everywhere in the first five books of the Holy Bible:

What have they been up to?

Let us take a look at what some of our old proselytizing pals have been up to, shall we?

Oh dear me...Cindy Jacobs. This lady is a hoot. She sits here and gives the most generalized 'prophecy' ever and then I suppose expects to be seen as having been enlightened by God? Shit, I have read better predictions from the daily Yahoo horoscopes. It's either going to be real bad or real good? WTF? That isn't prophecy, you ninny. That is a common goddamn sense observation. Every day that you wake up...every day that anyone wakes up, we know it is either gonna be good or bad. There is no mystery to that whatsoever and it is NOT goddamn prophecy. Geeze, woman.

This is hilarious! I like the little computer animated cartoon of Jacobs being dangled over a stage. The people who made this video seem to be just as bad as Jacobs, right? I mean, what are these people doing? Fighting over the people who follow God? Are they worried who the parishioners are going to give their money to?

Here, Pastor John Hagee would have you believe that the headlines of a newspaper that read "New World View In Washington" actually translate to "New World Order In Washington." Are you surprised that any God-fearing individual would go the length of twisting the words of another in an effort to get their message across to people? Also, in this clip Hagee says that the first version of the New World Order appears in Genesis 10 where Nimrod proposes to build the Tower of Babel. BUT this is not true. Sure, Nimrod does found Shinar, but he NEVER proposes building the Tower of Babel in chapter 10 (where it is not even mentioned by name) or in chapter 11 (where the Tower of Babel IS mentioned by name). And where in the hell is Hagee getting his information that the Tower of Babel was covered with signs and symbols of the occult and astrological symbols? What is the purpose of this bullshit? It doesn't sound scary. It sounds stupid.

Hagee wants you to believe that Atheism is a theological idea...that Atheists HATE God. Now I ask you...seriously...how in the fuckey-doo can an Atheist hate a God they hold does not exist?

You KNOW I had to put in something that showcased Benny Hinn, right? This guy is freaking hilarious, thus it would be a sin to leave him out.

Holy shit!!! You GOTTA love Pastor Joel Osteen for his apparent innocence and ignorance in submitting a tweet that was later taken down. Oh mercy! This is a good one!!

I dare you to watch this and NOT laugh your ass off!! Hah! I had to keep stopping the freaking video because I was laughing so hard. Does Rexella Van Impe (apparently named after a pharmacy...maybe) always sound like she has either been smoking a doobie or has popped a couple of Valium with a side serving of Xanax? I laughed till I cried!!

Sooo...Kenneth Copeland has a cure for PTSD? Has he been holding out on all of the suffering soldiers all of these years? So the soldiers do not need medication or psychology? What?

This video is not recent but I wanted to include it because this woman is absolutely bonkers-nutso...big time. She really needs to bring it down a notch, stop smoking the crack and drinking Drain-o...SOMETHING.

Crazy for Jesus

I have never read about or heard of anything in the Bible that identified Jesus as crazy, so why do many of His followers behave like this?

Ahh, religion. Is believing in God or any deity a problem? No, not in and of itself. Then why are there so many verbal and physical fights and scuffles between believers and non-believers, and even between believers and believers?

Somewhere along the line many of those who make the choice to believe in an all-knowing deity mistakenly begin thinking that their way of living and thinking and worshiping is the ONLY way to do such. Then, in their grand delusion of spiritual superiority they begin to behave in ways that are really baffling, stupid, absurd, ridiculous, cruel, hateful, angry, crazy, incendiary, divisive, dishonest, and pretty much everything that you would guess that Jesus himself would more than likely be against. Let's take a peek, shall we?

What is this guy doing? Is he mixing some strange version of Pentecostal worship with some kind of weird alcoholism?  Is that it? Is he trying to be cute and engaging? What is it with the "Oing! Oing! Oing!" he keeps saying? Find a 'drinking buddy' and shoot up with Jesus? A floating preacher suspended for twelve hours? What? This is flat out f*cking stupid.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP8vQwymOuE

Oh DEAR Lord. What do people expect to achieve when behaving like this? Sure, this has got to be a skit (poorly executed I might say) but the basics of loony believers trying to evangelize the heathen masses is spot on. I will tell you now, in absolute truth and honesty, I know for sure that there were times that I sounded just like this.

Back in the days when I still believed in God and Jesus and the Bible I know there were times I behaved just like this. I cannot begin to express my shame and sincere apologies for ever behaving like this toward anyone...ever. If you know me, Ester Lighthorse (or by my real name and not my pen name), as a family member or your friend or as a former friend or co-worker or whatever, and if I treated you in such an obtuse manner as I tried to shove whatever it was I thought was truth down your throat I would like to tell you that I am so sorry that I ever did such a thing to you.

Yes, I was very young at the time. And while I did begin to think differently about what I was being taught about God and Jesus and religion when I was about 14 years old, I did not fully drop everything about the Bible and Christianity and faith and religion fully down the rubbish chute until considerably later. Still, I cannot rightfully use youth as an excuse because as true as I am sitting here now and typing this blog post I KNEW in the very depths of who I am as a person that what I was saying was wrong. It always felt WRONG, because to me it was immeasurably dishonest to take the handful of good messages in the Bible (like the strength and power of Love) and use those messages and the truth they offer as validation for lies and flat-out crazy shit.

Lovely. This is what many generations heavily burdened by the 'holy' bug insist on doing to future generations. How do you like what you see? And remember my position on this. I am NOT against religion as a choice for the individual. If you wish to believe, fine and power to you. What I AM against is ANY religion that attempts to smother people with out-of-this-world ridiculousness as to how people should and should not live. I am also against religion influencing politics on any level.

As I listened to this man rant and rave on how the people around him did not have faith two things came to mind. First, he says those around him have no faith. How does he know that they have no faith? Faith can be many things to the individual and the only viable answer I could come up with here was that this man meant that the people had no faith according to the preacher's interpretation and understanding of what faith is. Just a teeny bit biased, wouldn't you say?

The second thing that came to mind was the venomous rage with which this guy was preaching. Watch the film clip while viewing the video, and then play it again, except the second time close you eyes and listen to the inflection in this man's words. I found it to be very disturbing. I hope this is not an indicator of the direction that more and more people are claiming religion is moving in at an increasing rate, because if God is changing His message of love and salvation through Jesus to a message of hate, separation, prejudice, inequality, and justified cruelty...

This man's tidal wave of anger is a clear indicator that he does not know the first thing about what Jesus taught, or the ideals that Jesus is supposed to represent.

Here is a fine example of religious brainwashing. For the most part people maintain a certain conduct when interacting in social environments; there are things most people would do, and things most people wouldn't do. Then you have religion enter stage right. All of a sudden you have people absolutely ready and willing to do ANYTHING in the name of their God and His infallible truth.

Obviously the woman here could give a rat's ass and a good goddamn how absolutely foolishly she is behaving. Why? So long as the otherwise abnormal behavior is supposed to glean converts and add to the glory of God and His horrific plan for mankind, well...folks like this have special divine permission to do absolutely anything in the name of God. You know, I bet those idiot suicide bombers think the same damn way about Allah.

This is simply outstanding.

You know what? Maybe it isn't so much that Christianity has a vendetta against gays and lesbians so much as it is Christianity can feel the reigns of power and control slipping from its damnable grasp. Many Christians are SO desperate to remain in a position where they unfortunately believe and think that they are better (if only spiritually and eternally speaking) than all others, they will say and do ANYTHING. Many will have no trouble at all lying about the intent of those holding an opposing opinion. If Jesus were real do you think he would approve of this habit of lying? Gays and lesbians do not want to destroy marriage, no. Their intent is that they receive the same right and privilege to marry irrespective of their religious or gender preferences.

Wow. So much for Jesus loving the little children.

Haahaahaa!!!! Haahaah!!!! Holy cow this is great! What do you know? There are believers who are so crazy for Jesus that they will try to misinterpret history, or in some cases change it altogether.

That's right. The bigger and more outlandish the claim, the crazier the individual making the claim is for Jesus. Look at the title of this video. Now look at the date it was posted. Jesus is coming soon? The freaking post is like two years old! Well, Jesus' interpretation of soon and the human interpretation of soon must be completely different.

Geeze, what the hell happened to the message of love and compassion supposedly offered by Jesus? And what is this shit about death being better than compromising? That's what the freaks who fly planes into buildings say.

This is pathetic...and unfortunately very common.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Chuck Missler

Taking Christianity to a Whole New Level of Idiocy

Chuck Missler is an evangelist who would have you believe some of the damnedest things you have ever heard. I think that as we move further along in time/existence that more and more of the ardent religious folk of the universe will do everything in their power to try to incorporate technology and human behaviors and governmental practices into their spiritual beliefs in an effort to prove the existence of their defective deity and that deity's equally defective plans for humankind.

So, Chuck Missler thinks that Jesus gave the disciples some sort of 'briefing' as to when He would be returning. Please. If it was such a briefing of necessary info on Jesus returning then there would not be so many freaking people with so many different ideas of when Senor Jesus is due to return.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mMkuR6X5Q

Here, Mr. Missler would like for you to believe that the likelihood of one man fulfilling all of these amazing and astounding prophecies is in an area of mathematics simply out of this world. This is a false argument. First of all, not one thing about these so-called prophecies can be shown as fact. Prophecies are guesses, and when what is prophesied actually happens out of pure coincidence that is not confirmation of the truth of the prophecy or of the truth of the prophesier.

Second, people throughout all of history have been prophesying all sorts of crap for ages; doing such is simply part of the human condition and the deep desire to know what is going to happen in the future. But the really crazy part is if people really want to know what is going to happen all they really need to do is look into recorded history. People are creatures of habit. Whatever people are doing now you go to the past and find out where people were doing the same thing or something very similar. Then study that and you will have your answer of what is going to happen. It is not a difficult concept to grasp.

Lastly, Mr. Missler's mathematical formulas for his prophecy mumbo-jumbo mean absolutely squat since he is talking about the make-believe. Forget what the odds are that some guy will fulfill your prophecy. Instead, consider what the odds are that your religion is over-the-top delusion that has unfortunately become truth for many unsuspecting and ignorant individuals and groups yearning for deeper understanding of everything that life is. It is okay to want to understand life more. It is not okay to take any old explanation that comes along that claims to have all of your answers, actually all of THE answers to everything, an explanation that basically says you can have all of the answers to life that you seek...if only you believe THIS way. That is crap.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkBl4CRAIEQ

This is interesting. Here you are asked to consider UFOs, what they are, where they are from, and what their purpose is. You are also asked to consider what the Bible has to say about UFOs. Yep. You read that correctly. Missler wants for you to consider what the Bible has to say about UFOs. Well, three cheers for trying to garner more lost souls for Christianity by trying to include alien lore with religion.

Do I think UFOs are real? Do I think there is intelligent life in the universe besides man? Yes. I think the odds for that are heavily in favor of there being other intelligent life. It only makes sense that with BILLIONS of galaxies in the universe there would be other intelligent life. What I DO NOT believe is that aliens are some kind of demon race hellbent on deceiving mankind and thwarting the plans of the Heavenly Father. This particular sermon/speech by Missler has several parts to it, so if you wish to view them simply click on the links provided by YouTube after you watch this video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8H8YS4wXDU

I want to know how people can believe this crap? God is going to use strange demonic creatures in order to draw the world into a war with God that the world cannot possibly win? Ooooo-kay. Uhmmm...I have just a few issues with this ludicrous sounding story. One, while I do think there is intelligent life in the universe other than man I have not yet personally met such a being in such a way that would make me think that they are demonic or wicked or against God or whatever. Have you met one, Mr. Missler? How do you know they are demonic? Whose words are you taking as total truth in this matter? Do you always believe everything people tell you about others without trying to ascertain for yourself another's character or intent?

Two, you say that to war against God is crazy and impossible to end in any other way than victory for God. Then you say GOD is going to use these UFO demons of yours to draw the world into conflict with God. Which is it? Are others gathering to war against God or is God Himself simply manipulating the whole entire thing in order to make Himself look like a big, bad victorious deity?

Lastly, did you dig into the Bible and find that verse you cite as back-up to your crazy claims, or did someone else bring that to you? I am curious as to how you chose to use such a verse. Of course, if people try hard enough and believe strong enough they can put just about any meaning they want to just about any verse in the Bible.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrQ6FdJu8XY

According to Wikipedia, Socialism is, "...an economic system that is characterized by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy." Where Mr. Missler gets his definition of the same is hard to say. I would guess that part of it is a natural proclivity of many Christians (not all of them, so if you are offended by this statement don't be) to say absolutely anything in an effort to try to prove their faith and their God. Of course, if such things could ever be proved they would not be faith, would they?

Here in this video Missler talks about how the loss of property can be linked directly with loss of liberty. I would say there is value in that statement. Then Missler says something along the lines of the Bible being pro-family and pro-liberty and all that horseshit. I would say there is NO VALUE in that statement. I think there are plenty of verses in the Old Testament in particular that quite clearly depict the wickedness of God as He instructs His chosen people to TAKE the property of others, take the liberty of others, and even take the lives of others.

Socialism may be a terrible form of government, but I do not see the tyrannical tendencies of the Christian God and His spiritual/physical/mental dictatorship as being any better.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj0lp9u-Seg

Okay, what is the deal with Christianity being to goddamn obsessed with money? One of their favorite subjects/topics when trying to convert people or when trying to scare the begeesus out of people who already believe in God, is to tell people that in order to gain 'control' of everyone (in particular in order to make life more difficult for Believers) the government is purposely taking control of all the finances of everyone, everywhere.

My question for Christians is why the hell should you care about what happens to the money? If you already believe it to be true, if you already have it set in your heart that the government is going to use money to control Believers in an effort to thwart God, if you already hold it to be true that the love of money is the root of all evil why don't you let the subject be? Why should money matter to you? Why do you get so uppity and so worried every time you think something funny is happening with the money we use?

So we are headed to a cashless society. Big damn deal. That is a good thing. Consider how much paper will be saved and how much less likely it will be that people will lose their money. And don't even try to say that a cashless society will be used by the government to manipulate what money is in your bank account. Tell you what, the only things that will manipulate the money in your account is whether or not you work and whether or not you pay your taxes and whether or not you pay your bills. Will there be mistakes? Of course there will be. I have had mistakes with my own banking before, geeze. It is not something so uncommon.

Besides, isn't one of the signs of your fairy tale deliverer returning supposed to be a move toward a cashless society? You should be jumping for joy instead of acting so goddamn afraid.
 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL_Sn06gxXU

This is pure stupidity. Here Missler wants you to believe that the Bible is a hologram that can only be seen properly by the light cast by the Holy Spirit and not by any other light. This is so goddamn stupid and a blatant twisting of scientific facts and theories and premises that I am shocked.

God: Charlatan and Abuser of Faith and Love

Well, I'll be!! God does the atheists and all other non-believers a favor by disproving...Himself.

I subscribe to several Christian blogs in an effort to better understand the half baked ideologies of any faith founded on the Bible. One of the messages that was sent to me contained a link that tried to assert/prove that while love conquers all...love also hates. I clicked on the article and read the entire thing, and then read it again. Here is the link to the article:

The article is truly appalling as it shamelessly presents the idea that love and God both hate. The way this article tried to validate the emotion of hate as a sign of love is truly indifferent to the reality of love.
"Love is an act of endless forgiveness, a tender look which becomes a habit."
-Peter Ustinov-

The manner in which the author tries to validate her claim is perverse and offensive to everything that comprises what love is. In short, the author points out a verse in the Bible that says God is love, but then completely turns around and says that since God hates, then out of necessity love also hates.
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."
-Lao Tzu-

Quoting the verse Psalms 11:5 which says, "The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, He hates with a passion," the author seemingly neglects the many Bible verses that proclaim God as love. Following that is the neglect to recall that love is supposed to be all-powerful, THE most powerful force in the universe since God is, after all, love. And isn't God enduring? And isn't love patient and kind and everlasting and faithful and persevering and unlimited, and so on and so forth?
"It is love, not reason, that is stronger than death."
-Thomas Mann-

Nothing can ever degrade, damage, harm, hurt, modify, mutate, stunt, defy, insult, or even diminish love. Love is THAT powerful. Love is supposed to be THE superseding force EVER. So, considering that I want to know how the author of this article came to the screwy conclusion that love hates. I don't want to hear any bullshit about the semantics of some twisted verse out of the Bible either. Give me a reason based validation.
"A fool in love makes no sense to me. I only think you are a fool if you do not love."
-Anonymous-

The idea that love would falter or change in its position or change its core character of solid and pure forgiveness is nothing short of stupidity. Even better is the fact that this claim disproves God. Hah! God is love and love is God. God is eternal and so love is eternal. There are no limits on God. There are no limits on love. Listen closely all ye of twisted faith. Hate is a LIMITING factor that cannot even touch love with a ten foot pole. You can't say God is love and love is God and that both are eternal...and then turn right back around and claim hatred. What is wrong with you? When you do that you are admitting God does not exist. If love does not exist God does not exist. If hate is manifest (in deed or thought or action) then clearly love does not exist. You cannot have it both ways. God either is or is not everlasting love. There are no timeouts. There are no vacations. There are no variations.
"If you would be loved, love and be lovable."
-Benjamin Franklin-

Another part in this article tries to offer as evidence Old Testament verses that note God hates things such as robbery and wrongdoing, yada yada, plucka plucka. But this is also a stupid approach because God sure as hell did a lot of robbing and wrongdoing in the Old Testament. What did the children of Israel do as they left Egypt after the ten plagues? Why, God instructed them and allowed them to plunder the Egyptians. What they took from the Egyptians did not belong to the Israelites...but remember GOD allowed them to do this so it must be okay, right?

What about the so-called promised land of God's chosen people? Those lands already had people on them but God took it and 'gave' it to His people. And what about what God did to Job? The list goes on and on and on with example after example of this infallible God of love acting in a very hateful manner just to get His way or to get revenge. So, you do see where I am going with this, correct? God hates wrongdoing. Robbery and murder and all such things are wrong deeds to do. God has committed robbery and murder. God must then hate Himself.
"A loving heart is the truest wisdom."
-Charles Dickens-

I read the quote below and was struck with the reality and fierceness of hate within religion. Christianity is the hypocrite of hypocrites. There is no message of love to be found in this demented God and His abused Son. This can be easily proven just by considering the vile behaviors of some people professing to be Christian. Actually, like the person who wrote the article I am bitching about here. Looking for a loophole, a reason, anything that will serve the purposes of religion.
"We never know we are beings till we love. And then it is we know the powers and potentiality of human existence."
-Jean Toomer-

What is interesting is that with the absolute terrible character and behavior in the Bible on the part of God, Christians are in a way forced to make up some bullshit exception that will allow hate into the shepherd's flock. Why? Because the stupid bastards must explain away the cruelty, malevolence, crookedness, evilness, and hideousness of God's character, they HAVE to make an excuse for God.
"Whoso loves believes the impossible."
-Elizabeth Barrett Browning-

Christianity is well known for its repeated assertions that God and the Bible and Jesus all say that there is no hope for mankind, that man is only good for fighting and killing, that the only cure for man is to initiate global disasters, heinous crimes against humanity, and a mega war that will eventually culminate with Jesus bursting into the picture riding on a white horse with an insanely large army of angels all set to destroy absolutely everything. And that is how you know that God does not exist.

God is supposed to have known everything even BEFORE He supposedly created everything. That being the case He would have known how this grand plan of His would end and out of love for man would do something about it. Out of sheer necessity God would have been required to behave and act and command lovingly. He completely FAILS to reconcile love with mankind, instead opting for untold violence and destruction. Such actions are devoid of love. If there is a void due to a lack of love...there is even a bigger void than that since God doesn't exist. And you DO realize that love CAN exist without God (and it DOES) but God CANNOT exist outside of love, right?
"Love is the only sane and satisfactory answer to the problem of human existence."
-Erich Fromm-

Kirk Cameron

Right Behind

I titled this little snippet on Kirk Cameron "Right Behind" because apparently that is where this man has left his brains...right behind him.
The representatives of Christianity, here one of them Kirk Cameron, just cannot seem to give a straight answer when it comes to questions of whether or not the key reason that people believe in God/Jesus is to be forgiven of their sins. I don't see how Cameron and his sidekick can weasel out of this. People believe in God/Jesus because they want to be forgiven of their sins (whatever they may be) and want to go to heaven instead of hell.
Then we are right back at the first square, asking these glutes why people believe in the first place. It is a faith of avoidance. Believe so you do not have to go to hell. There is no other true reason to believe in Christianity. It must be acknowledged that there is a very bright line between someone simply believing in God just to believe, and the modern day Christian being someone believing to avoid hell and be forgiven of all of their so-called sins.
A man who believes in God just to believe will not ever believe in a heaven or a hell, but simply that there is something great out there that he does not understand, something he has labeled 'God'. Many who believe in God from this approach do not even view God as some conscious personality that experiences emotions, but rather the vital energy, the common, universal animator we call life. This man feels no need whatsoever to encourage or threaten or harass others into believing the same as he does. Neither is such a man threatened by any other religious belief or practice or even the choice to NOT believe in a God at all.
It must also be pointed out that the man I have described in the above paragraph is not threatened by different religions in the spiritual sense. He does not think there is a wrong way or a right way to believe in matters of a spiritual nature. This must not be confused with feeling threatened by violent faiths. That is something altogether different, for ANY faith that encourages any kind of violence or detrimental practice such as prejudices of race, age, creed, gender, yada yada plucka plucka, any such religion is not a healthy, valid faith.
Here in this video Cameron and his pal are trying very hard to change the truth of the reality of the answer to the question posed to them. ANYONE who says that they believe in God/Jesus to be forgiven their sins and to go to heaven instead of hell is a hypocrite and more than likely does not even realize it. This is not faith.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbvQ3cohlx4

The argument that people need religion as a basis for morality is ludicrous. The questioner basically asks at the beginning how, if without God, a group or nation or people would know that subjugating other less powerful nations/countries was wrong? The questioner wants to know how will the strong know to protect the weak, how will they know that is the right thing to do if they do not have God/religion?
This is a very easy question to answer. There is this really great thing called common goddamn sense. Then there is this equally excellent and amazing sense called humanity. When these two senses come together they run deeper and stronger than many, if not most Christians give credit for. Maybe some people need some big imaginary friend to tell them that it is wrong to lie, cheat, steal, kill, maim, murder, rape, subjugate, terrify...the list goes on and on. Some people have to be told these things are wrong to do. Some people do not.
And I do not think knowing social rights and wrongs can be attributed to any kind of religious spiritual nurture/nature deal. There are plenty of people in this world who were raised in horrible conditions but as adults their fine character and personal ethic helped them to contribute positively to themselves, their family, their community, and humanity as a whole.
Common sense and humanity are really the only way to improve anything beginning with the individual. This is because without common sense and humanity we cannot have compassion. Without compassion for ourselves and everyone around us, everyone on this entire planet, we lose a lot more than we gain, because without compassion (in the proper sense and according to each specific area of application) law and government and society as a whole is doomed to either suffer great strife or crumble altogether.
And when I say compassion I do not mean letting people go free when they do bad and terrible things, when people hurt each other or worse. No. That is something called stupidity and nowhere near compassion, so don't even go there. It is compassion in the sense of understanding that when people are different...love differently, speak differently, look differently, laugh differently, and so on and so forth, that we do not punish them for such. Instead, we appreciate the diversity. This is a good thing because in the process of recognizing differences we are not afraid that we will lose our own identities and practices in the process of learning about others.
This is where many Christians get completely swallowed by the elitist theories and doctrines of their faith. They are told and consequently believe that without whatever it is THEY have, without that thing all others are powerless and slated for the worst of unhappiness in hell. In order to support such a dilapidated idea of faith those immersed in it create rules, laws, regulations, and processes that are not only based on such faith but that are intended to enforce that faith ON EVERYONE. All of that piles up at a junction where the defenders of whatever faith it is piss and moan and gripe and complain how so many people are breaking laws all over the place, and are therefore immoral and detrimental to society and all decent people. Bah!
If the adherents to Christianity and any other violent and aggressive faith think that THEY are the decent people of society then THEY are bordering on the psychological territory of irreversible stupidity.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-0U1wJof2U

Listen to the statistic stated at the beginning of this video that ten percent of the US population does not believe in God...with the actual number of atheists being around twenty million. This version of mathematics is interesting since the 2012 reported  population was a hair over 313 million. It would seem the old bag mentioning the statistic left out about ten million people.
Moving on, part of this discussion centered around convincing atheists and non-believers in general as to the truth of the Bible and salvation. I think that this idea of 'convincing' others is somewhat contrary to what faith is supposed to be in the first place. Faith does not require convincing on any level. Not only that, but faith comes from within the individual who makes the decision to accept something lock, stock and barrel in the absence of ANY proof or coercion.
Take note of how Cameron tries to prove God exists. It is the typical argument of you-don't-know-how-you-got-here-so-it-must-be-God.

Holy shit this is too funny! The intentional misuse and abuse of information and philosophical arguments in an effort to prove Christianity is expected. The reasoning of Cameron and his pal is both riddled with error and delightfully entertaining. You know, it is kinda scary how many child actors from television series totally go off the deep end as they get older.

This is so retarded. Cameron proceeds to make use of an example that is not applicable let alone possible. Jumping out of a plane at 25,000 feet up? He should have researched this analogy a little more so he could at least make the stated altitude a little more believable.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WV43vFh12eA&list=PLD8C67C57800EF822

Don't you just love how the guy asking the questions purposely misstates the theories within evolution? What makes it even better is the fact that he tries very hard to use the lack of knowledge as to how life formed on earth as a validating factor for Christianity. That right there is part of the stupidity of the approach of many believers who try to convert others. Non-believers cannot provide answers for where everything came from or provide proof for the non-existence of God, therefore the believers are correct.
Well, the believers fail to recall that they don't know anything more than what the atheist/non-believer knows as to how everything came to be. Better yet, not one Christian has proof FOR the existence of God...and I do not mean hand-me-down religious beliefs either. I mean real, hard proof. First-hand proof. Proof that does not consist of the Bible or superstitious claims. Proof that is not God supposedly speaking THROUGH someone who says God told them to say something.
Never ONCE has this mighty, all-inclusive, omnipotent God shown Himself. Not once. And I do not mean any prophet saying God said this or that or spoke in a dream or appeared as a fucking burning bush in the boondocks of the Middle East. The God of the Bible NEVER does anything for Himself because He always gets someone else to do it for him.
In response to this a believer would counter with the comment that mega natural disasters and freaky weather patterns are caused by the supernatural powers of God and man does not have the mighty power to control the weather and the movements of the earth. This is just the continuation of a dreadfully stupid argument offered by Christianity since, not only is that claim NOT literal, actual proof of God, but they cannot provide any proof whatsoever that there was any just cause for believing that some God was screwing around with things in the first place.

Here we have Cameron trying to sound deep and introspective as he purposely over-simplifies evolutionary theories. Cameron probably thinks that his knowledge of the Bible and Christian doctrines and practices make him an honorary, qualified geologist and a man of great spiritual intellect. He reminds me of the criminals who think they are cataclysmic-ally smarter than everyone else since, while in prison, they read every book on philosophy that they could find in the prison library. Then the criminals take every possible opportunity to impart their perceived wisdom upon others by regurgitating what they read and applying such to all the wrong situations and circumstances.

More examples of Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum warping or altogether lying about their cited references and examples. It gets better, right? Cameron asserts that humans and apes are so similar to each other that there must be a common Creator.

While I do find this video entertaining there is still a part of me that gets so goddamn pissed off. Fucking 'A' man. Don't these assholes know when to fucking quit? And they wonder why so many people have so many issues with Christianity and similar religions. These supposed faiths are loaded with lies, purposeful misrepresentation and conclusions that reside only in the land of aberrant reasoning.

Man will believe anything so long as it is NOT in the Bible? Why would anyone want to believe anything from the Bible? Sure sure, God is love and all that happy shit, but have these idiots forgotten the horrible shit in the Bible? Rape, murder, adultery, child slavery, infanticide, patricide, incest...do you want me to go on?

Hah! Listen to Cameron as he explains his grand plan for attacking the book "Origin of Species" and evolution as a whole. Good thing he is not in the military in a leadership position that requires sharp thinking in order to create winning, successful strategies. I can only imagine the horrible things that would happen.

Creflo Dollar

Just Another Snake in the Grass of Religion

Listen to the message this dunce is delivering because if you are not careful you just might miss it: Don't let reason happen to you. This is the basic message Creflo is delivering in this video. He is telling people to not allow their power of reasoning to get in the way of what God is telling them to do...especially when God is telling them to put money into the hands of Creflo Dollar.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-nlPkyIdig

Is this asshole for real? He is seriously blaming problems that people have on not tithing? You have got to be fucking kidding me. This douchebag says that if you do not tithe that you will be just as broke as the Ten Commandments that Moses brought down from Mount Sinai.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swqU1C6VRI4&list=PLA8CED8DC296E1123

That's right, Creflo. I should not worry about doing what I need to do to take care of my family because the wicked spirit of mammon is preventing me from giving money to you, and if I want to save myself and let God fix my money troubles I should give you my grocery money. This is so goddamn stupid.
Come to think of it this could be used as a fine example that God does not exist. How so? Well, do you think if there really was a hell and if there really was a God that preachers really and truly believed in and feared and trusted that these same preachers would be saying and doing half the shit they do? Hell no! They know all too well that IF there were such a thing as hell (which there is not) they would be first in line.

Wow. This guy takes every opportunity to make a plug for tithing his church. Isn't it wonderful how Creflo stretches and warps the words of those who press Creflo for answers to simple questions? The little pulpit worm is a spiritual bully that plays on the weaknesses of the desperate in order to fulfill his own desire for wealth. Total loser.
Then, in order to get more people to tithe this bastard comes up with an idea to single out those who do not tithe, line them up, and shoot them. He says he would try it if he could but later tries to schmooze his comments over as just...talk.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPJcddnaR8A

Listen to Douchebag Dollar's answer. He says the senator's letter was nice and he would comply...as soon as the senator has legal documentation. Dollar also wants the tax privacy kept in tact and so does not want the senator to see the information and suggests that the info be given to the IRS that is bound to approach the issue within specific guidelines. He talks circles around each and every question. His responses to the questions having to do with his wealth are evasive as he often says that he does not own some of the items he is questioned about...like the jet. He says he follows the IRS regulations and is more than happy to prove it...once he has been legally ordered to do so.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgfZnHyeKNk

Crook? This poor excuse of a man is calling people who do not tithe crooks? This freak of religious nature spouts this kind of stupidity and people STILL believe him and seek his council?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM3BWAmlXis

Watch this whole video so you do not miss the footage of this guy's absolutely loaded lifestyle. I wonder if there are any families in his congregation that need help paying their bills, need food, need better housing and better clothing, or even need help with paying a doctor to tend to medical issues? Dollar hops about and happily claims God has simply been GOOD to him. Isn't that nice?
I can't imagine the confusion of someone in his congregation, someone who desperately needs help, watching Dollar as God repeatedly blesses the smarmy pastor with more and more money and possessions while the congregation member receives no help? How must that person feel? Is it their fault for not having enough faith? Has God forgotten them? Is it simply a case of the pastor is more important than a lowly congregation member who does not have a dime to his name much less a single dollar to tithe?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCS0YHm_58c

Listen to how this stupid fucker twists the words of the Bible as to what gleans a harvest of whatever it is the person is asking God for. He flat out says that prayer does not bring harvest. Only money can bring the harvest, and until a person gives money God will not give them harvest. WTF, man. WTF. Only a true douchebag would try to convince people that until they gave money God was not permitted to bless them with harvest.
